A Jeweler for the Wedding Capital of Texas

The Texas Legislature has named Dripping Springs the Official Wedding Capital of Texas, most recently renewing the title in 2025, and the town counts dozens of venues within a short drive, from Camp Lucy to Vista West Ranch. Over in Wimberley, Old Glory Ranch and The Cedars Ranch host their share. If your wedding is booked out here, the rings are where we come in.

The showroom is at 3818 Far West Boulevard, Suite 102, Austin, TX 78731. From Dripping Springs it's about 28 miles. From Wimberley it's 41 to 45 miles depending on the route, usually an hour to an hour and 20 minutes.

Plan the Rings Around the Wedding Date

Work backward from the date. A fully custom engagement ring takes six to eight weeks after you approve the design, so start two to three months out if you're proposing on a particular date. Wedding bands need four to six weeks for sizing and engraving.

It all starts with a one-hour design consultation. You'll see stones in person, pick the shape and metal, and approve a CAD rendering before anything is cast. Begin with a setting from our Iconic Collection or go fully custom; how it works lays out each step, and our custom engagement rings page shows what's possible.

A Proposal Under Dark Skies

Dripping Springs was named Texas's first International Dark Sky Community in 2014, and the Wimberley Valley earned the same recognition in 2018. A clear night out here is a hard setting to beat for a proposal. Get the ring sized right before you go: we'll help you find a ring size discreetly, and resizing afterward is free on rings bought from us.

Natural or Lab Grown, Side by Side

Both natural and lab grown diamonds sit in our cases, each one picked by eye. Lab grown generally gets you a noticeably bigger center stone for the money, while natural is the rarer choice and holds its value better. Our GIA-certified team will lay them out together in the same light and talk you through the 4Cs. For homework, try GIA's own 4Cs guide.

Wedding Bands for Both of You

For the bride, there are plain gold, diamond and eternity bands, plus contoured bands made to nestle against an engagement ring. For the groom, men's bands in gold, two-tone, textured finishes and tantalum. Shopping for parents and the wedding party too? Try our gifts page.

Repairs, Appraisals and the CALVIN'S Promise

Our workshop resizes rings, rebuilds prongs, replaces missing accent stones and restores the shine, whether you bought the piece here or not. GIA Graduate Gemologist Alexandra de Marigny, an International Society of Appraisers member, works out of our showroom writing independent insurance and estate valuations; give us a call before you come so she can make time.

Jewelry you buy from us is protected by the CALVIN'S Promise, which means a one-year warranty, free cleaning, polishing, inspection and sizing for as long as you own it, and help working with your insurer if the center stone is lost. All our services are listed online.
