Straight Across Town on US-290 and Koenig Lane
We're at 3818 Far West Boulevard, Suite 102, Austin, TX 78731. From Manor it's about 15 miles and usually 25 to 35 minutes. From Elgin it's about 26 miles, closer to 40 to 50. Most of the drive is US-290, so you only meet MoPac for the last mile.
Calvin Smith III opened the store in 1997 after learning the trade from his father, and he's still at the bench. Jackie Smith, co-owner and designer, works with him. If you'd like to know who you're buying from, our story is a quick read.
Engagement Rings That Don't Look Like Everyone Else's
Manor has grown by more than half since 2020, and plenty of the couples moving into ShadowGlen and Manor's other new neighborhoods want a ring that's theirs rather than something from a mall case. That's most of what we do. You can start from one of our Iconic Collection settings and adjust it, or design one from nothing.
It begins with a one-hour design consultation, where you look at real stones and talk through the shape, the metal and what you want to spend. You approve a CAD rendering before we cast anything, and a fully custom ring is finished in six to eight weeks. Wedding Bands for Hands That Work
Out toward Elgin, a lot of rings see fence posts, toolboxes and livestock. If that's your day, the band matters as much as the engagement ring. We carry comfort-fit gold bands, textured and two-tone styles that hide scratches, and tantalum, a hard, dark gray metal that shrugs off daily wear. Tantalum can't be resized later, so we'll take extra care getting the size right.

Natural or Lab Grown: Decide With the Stones in Front of You
We carry both natural diamonds and lab grown diamonds, picked by hand. Lab grown tends to stretch a budget into a bigger stone; natural is rarer and keeps more of its value. Repairs and Appraisals Without Mailing Anything Off
Our bench jeweler sizes rings, repairs and tightens prongs, replaces accent diamonds, and cleans and polishes, on jewelry from us or from anywhere else. Alexandra de Marigny, a GIA Graduate Gemologist and ISA member, keeps an office in the showroom and writes independent appraisals for insurance and estates. Call ahead for an appraisal so she can set aside the time.

Directions from Manor and Elgin
From Elgin, take US-290 west through Manor. From Manor, pick up US-290 west (the Manor Expressway) toward Austin. The Manor Expressway's main lanes are tolled; the frontage roads beside them aren't. Stay on US-290 to I-35, then continue straight onto Koenig Lane (RM 2222). Koenig becomes Allandale Road and then Northland Drive. Take MoPac north one exit to Far West Boulevard.
Pull off Far West Boulevard and park in front of Suite 102; it's free. Turn-by-turn directions are a tap away from Manor or Elgin, and our location page has the rest.
